Hythe Venetian Fete

Hythe Venetian Fete requested my support in a voluntary capacity to help promote its 2024 event. I worked with the team from November 2023 to create social media content. At this time it was too late to carry out any major work on the website so content was simply updated to reflect current status.

This work led to me becoming a member of the Hythe Venetian Fete Committee where I supported the team in developing ideas for sponsorship of the event and further promotional activities.

I continue working with the committee. The next steps are to radically update the website and pull together a detailed communication strategy in time for the 2026 Fete.

Nic’s voluntary support in promoting the Hythe Venetian Fete was invaluable. We previously had no one dedicated to providing regular social media updates, nor to maintain our website.

Nic’s skills at creating visually appealing and engaging content on the Fete’s Facebook page meant we had a significant increase in engagement with our posts and consequently had a greater number of ticket sales than we may otherwise have had.

She has been a great asset to the Hythe Venetian Fete Committee and has also supported us with ideas for future events and offered ideas for ways we could achieve greater awareness and fundraising for what is a non-profit event.

In addition, Nic was able to update the website into a suitable format with refreshed content for 2024. We will be working with her on a complete revamp of the website in time for the 2026 Fete and hope she will continue to offer her services for social media.
